Marinated Spare Ribs






INGREDIENTS:

  • Pork spare ribs 400 g (14 oz.)

  • Watercress (as desired)


MARINADE:

  • Soy Sauce 2 1/2 Tbsp

  • Lemon juice(squeezed juice) 1 Tbsp

  • Del Monte Ketchup 1 Tbsp

  • Onion(grated) 1 Tbsp

  • White pepper a dash


STEPS:

  1. Put the spare ribs in a sealable container with (A) and massage the marinade in. Marinate for a half-day to a full day in a refrigerator.

  2. Put the spare ribs and marinade in a lidded microwaveable container and cover with the lid. Microwave (at 500 W) for 8 minutes.

  3. Remove the ribs from the marinade and place on aluminum foil laid out on the kitchen counter. Grill until the ribs have scorch marks on both sides. Boil down the marinade, then apply to the spare ribs as they grill.

  4. Serve with watercress as a garnish.
