Spinach Gnocchi




INGREDIENTS:

  • Spinach 50 g (1.8 oz.)

  • Potatoes 2

  • Flour 5 Tbsp

  • Salt a dash

  • White pepper as needed

  • Del Monte Tomato Sauce 150 g (5.3 oz.)

  • Butter 1 Tbsp

  • Soy Sauce 1 tsp

  • Powdered cheese as needed


STEPS:

  1. Boil the spinach in boiling water until tender, then mix in a blender until smooth (or grind with a mortar).

  2. Peel the potatoes and cut each into 4 to 6 pieces. Boil in boiling water until soft, then dry and mash.

  3. Add the flour to (1) and (2), and season with salt and pepper.

  4. Add a dash of salt (not included in ingredients) to boiling water, then drop spoonfuls of (3) into the water. Boil for about 3 minutes until these float, then drain.

  5. Add the butter and soy sauce to the tomato sauce, then cook until almost boiling while stirring.

  6. Line a dish with (5), then pile on (4) and sprinkle with powdered cheese.
